Testing A Home For Air Leaks

The best way to check a home for air leaks and drafts is with a "Blower Door Test". A Certified Energy Rater creates a negative pressure by using a fan to suck air out of your home and then measure how much outside are is sucked into the home through gaps and cracks. The tighter the home, the more energy efficient.
