What Does The Real Orlando Look Like?
Everyone that visits Central Florida want's to visit the theme parks. That's just fine with the locals as it leaves the real Orlando to us. Sure, we visit the parks like the tourists but only in the off season when the lines are short and the prices are just right. When it's busy with tourists the locals stay away from the places thick with visitors and enjoy some laid back time with our natural wonderland.
Central Florida is quite unique. We have 1.2 million residents and over 60 million visitors each year. We have the infrastructure to support all the tourists while at the same time Orlando still feels like a small town. We have lots of golf courses and so many restaurants that you never have to eat at the same one twice.
