Tankless Water Heaters!

Did you know that all that buzz about tankless water heaters is just that!

Most Custom Homes require two tankless heaters at a combined cost of $3,000. We have been installing insulated 80 gal water heaters, with insulated water lines and a recirculating pump for years. You get instant hot water at each faucet for $2,000. The tankless water heaters have a 15 year payback period over a 80 gal water heater with a pump. Sure tankless water heaters are a bit more energy efficient but is it worth the up front investment.

That's 15 years before you start saving a dime!

I get it, homeowners want to save money and tired of wating for hot water to be delivered to the sink or shower all the way on the other side of the house. To say noting about all the wasted water that goes down the drain.

I'm not just making up numbers here! We use a Certified Energy Rater to evaluate the energy useage on every home. The energy saving products are evaluated along with their payback periods.

Since the system has a recirculating pump that sends the hot water back to the storage tank the water at every sink is almost instant so wasted water is at a minimum. The pump even has a timer so you can turn the system off when you're not using hot water.

Whenever a company is selling and energy saving feature ask them to prove it! How will their product effect the HERS score on your home. HERS score is a nationally recognized standard that measures energy efficiency. If they can't prove it then it's BS.

Additionally, remember I'm not selling anything here, I'm just providing great information to homeowners that want to build a Custom Home. An 80 gal water heater with insulated hot water pipes and a recirculating pump attached is far better than a takless water heater. Instant hot water delivery, almost limitless supply, cost effective and you won't have to wait years for a payback on your initial investment.

It's tough to wade through all the various energy saving products to decide, which ones put the most "GREEN IN YOUR POCKET"! I'll show you how.
