Custom Built Home On A Hill Overlooking A Lake

www.regalclassichomes.com

Photo Below: You get ready to build your custom home and the neighbors yard looks like this! Additionally, when it rains the water washes down the hill in the neighbors yard and right into his pool.

Below: That's a lot of wasted money spent for a retaining wall in the neighbor's yard.

Below: Building pad mostly complete with front slope created as a close match to neighnors.

Below:
Dovetailing our home site to the existing homes that were positioned incorrectly. One required a retaining wall, the other has water washing down the rear lot line hill into the pool.

Below- cutting the height of the lot at the rear property line and moving that material to the front of the building pad. Notice, the soil is mostly sand which is typical of Florida soils. Water percolates quickly through the sandy soil so drainage is not an issue.

Below:
The home on the left was positioned on the lot improperly requiring the need of a retaining wall. Taking care not to damage the retaining wall and documenting condition with photos.

Below- wetting the fill down to improve compaction of building pad.

Below- placing stone in the driveway to minimize erosion.
