This system requires 3 separate waterproofing layers. The first layer is Protector Wrap glued to the plywood decking before the metal flashings are installed. The 2nd layer is an anti fracture material applied on top of the metal flashings and protecto Wrap. The 3rd layer is another anti fracture, waterproofing, drainage mat, called Detra by the Schluter Company. We want this to be bullet proof don't we?
